Our goal is to create a safe, stress-free, and healthy environment for our felines. We focus on providing optimum health care and socialization for our cats, so they have the best chance at a happy life.

Our shelter provides a cage free environment for the majority of our cats and our kittens live in spacious pens. Since our cats live communally we have limited space in the facility and do not accept drop-offs under any circumstances. We would love for you to come visit us and find your feline soul mate.

where we provide a CARING home for cats AS THEY find THEIR forever homes.

LOVE ME TRUE RESCUE.

This rescue began out of my overwhelming love of animals. From injured birds to stray dogs, growing up I always felt compelled to save animals in need.

While living up north, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a local shelter. I met many sweet animals who ended up being euthanized for lack of space or for being deemed "unadoptable". One dog in particular, who broke my heart, was Penny. She was a boxer mix and one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. After being returned to the shelter twice for fear aggression, she was put to sleep. I wasn't able to save her life, but I knew this was my calling, and I vowed to save others like my Penny.

By the grace of God (and wonderful donors and volunteers) I was able to start this rescue, knowing I have been equipped to help these homeless and unwanted cats. This rescue's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find safe forever homes for kittens and cats who would be euthanized or abandoned. I thank you for your support and love. This is for you, Penny!

God Bless,

Hi I'm Lisa Di Donato

At four days old Ellie Mae was brought into my life along with her two siblings. The litter was abandoned by their mother and they were dehydrated and hungry. Unfortunately, we lost one, but Ellie Mae and her brother Everett grew stronger with each passing day. I bottle fed them through the nights, kept them warm, and sang them to sleep (no lie it really worked). For anyone who has ever bottle fed it is exhausting, but it is worth every sleepless night. As time went on the bond between Ellie Mae and Everett grew stronger, as well as their bond with me. I have loved many cats, but there is something indescribable about the bond created when you have them this young. The three of us were inseparable and Ellie Mae and Everett spent all of their time together.

And then the unthinkable happened. Ellie Mae was taken from us by a horrible disease, FIP. I can't go into the details because it still hurts too much. I do want to keep Ellie Mae's memory alive and help educate people about this deadly disease.

I thank God for the time I spent with Ellie Mae, and the strength he gives me each day to deal with the pain of her loss.
